Nibbs makes it to Irish TV

Nibbs

There was a piece this week on a TV show called Imeall on TG4 about The growth of Animation Companies in Ireland and guess who made a secret appearance? No other then my very own Monster-Nibbs!!!

Nibbs was made for my Boss, Anne Tweedy a while back and unbeknown to me he managed to get himself a spot on the show...Well, sitting in on the back of the sofa while my other Boss, Rob Cullen is interviewed. You wanna make it big you gotta start somewhere right?

Acompanying Rob in his interview.

If you would like to check out the rest of the interviews and learn more about the Irish Animation Industry pop along here.

And for those who are wondering what Animation has to do with any of this, well I am an Animation Director/Animator with Bouldermedia, one of the companies featured in this piece.

Now I am done plugging my day job!!!!

Mokii

Mokii

So here is the first post, not quite how I expected to start this blog but now is as good a time as any. A kick in the backside really....so here are my Monsters and this is what I do....

This is Mokii, he was made for the Animation Art Auction, being held on the 29th July 2012 in The Science Gallery, Pierce St, Dublin at 1.00. Being organised by 3 people that I work with Simon Kellegan, Estrela Lourenco and Bianca Beneducci from Bouldermedia Animation Studio were I work(that's when I am not moonlighting as a Monster maker of course!)

The Auction is in aid of the Childrens Sunshine House and Laura Lynn House which are two incredibly worthwhile causes. Check out the Blog here and the Facebook page were you can see all the other fantastic submissions that have come in for the auction. There really is some top class talent so well worth a gander.
